Good Friday
Today is the greatest day in history. The day when Jesus gave up His life so we could gain ours back again. It's a great day for self examination and getting recentered. In a world full of collecting money, fast paced jobs, and crazy schedules it's good to stop and remember those things all fall into second place compared to living our life in God and being His disciple. My prayer is this for us all:
That we would be sober in our spirits today. Remembering Jesus, the Son of God who took a great beating for us, for our healing, for our future and hope, and for our ability to know His Father. That we would be thankful and not religious. That we the church would return to being a light to the world. Reminding the world that the life of Jesus is not just a story it IS the way to an amazing life. For eternal life is not only in the afterlife but it is knowing God now.
God bless you all. Jesus is why we are living this life. Love one another, pursue peace and forgiven with the same measure you have been forgiven. Amen
